Guitars – an Overview

The guitar is a musical instrument with ancient origins that is used in a broad variety of musical ways. It commonly has six strings, but four, seven, eight, ten, and twelve string guitars as well exist. Guitars are acknowledged as the chief musical instruments in blues, country, flamenco, rock music, and numerous forms of pop.
The guitar is also a solo classical instrument. They might be played acoustically, where the tone is created by oscillation of the strings and regulated by the hollow body, or they may rely on an amplifier that can electronically control tone. Read the rest of this entry »
